Presentation Description: This presentation will offer conference attendees a comprehensive overview of the strategic collaboration between Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) and Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer), emphasizing how coordinated efforts enhance operational resilience and efficiency. Areas of partnership include the provision for auxiliary power systems, integrated emergency response planning, and financial support for qualified capital improvement projects that align with shared sustainability goals. The session will also present illustrative examples of joint initiatives—such as the Aeration Blowers Project, the Science Laboratory Feasibility Assessment, and the implementation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE)—demonstrating the tangible benefits of interagency cooperation.
