Taylor Hansell is President of MuniQuip, LLC, a provider of pumping equipment, technical solutions, and aftermarket support for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure throughout California and Nevada. Taylor works closely with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors to deliver reliable pumping solutions for critical systems including wastewater collection, headworks, and treatment plant processes.

His experience spans both centrifugal and positive displacement pumping technologies, including solids-handling pumps, chopper pumps, progressive cavity pumps, and specialty equipment used in wastewater treatment facilities. Taylor regularly supports projects involving pump selection, system troubleshooting, specification development, and long-term equipment lifecycle considerations for municipal facilities.

As President of MuniQuip, Taylor leads a team focused on providing strong technical support, responsive service, and practical solutions that help agencies operate and maintain critical infrastructure more effectively. The company represents a portfolio of leading manufacturers like Hidrostal, Grundfos, Moyno, Crane PS, Smith and Loveless and works closely with utilities and engineers to support both new infrastructure projects and existing system upgrades.

Taylor is also an advocate for industry collaboration and continuing education. He frequently organizes and hosts technical training events such as MuniQuip Pump School, which brings together operators, engineers, manufacturers, and contractors to share practical insights on pump systems, maintenance practices, and emerging technologies in water and wastewater treatment.

Through his work with utilities, industry partners, and professional organizations such as CWEA, Taylor remains committed to advancing knowledge within the w/ww sector and supporting the professionals responsible for protecting public health and maintaining the reliability of w/ww infrastructure.
