Margil Jimenez is a seasoned scientist at OC San, specializing in molecular methods and procedures. With over 20 years of experience, Margil has a proven track record in culture and PCR methods. Margil is currenlty involved in the microbiology section of the Bight 23 study. This study is evaluating the potential contamination caused by runoff water to the recieving water and may have regionwide implications. He holds a civil engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona university and spent the first 12 years of his career working as a process engineer. During tha time, he specialized in primary, seconday, solids and odor treatment. In his personal time, Margil enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and being involved in his local church.
