Sushmitha Reddy, MBA (she/her/hers)

Manager of Laboratories
Inland Empire Utilities Agency, CA

Sushmitha Reddy is the Manager of Laboratories for Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA). She serves on the CWEA Board of Directors, is the Chair of the State Laboratory Committee, and is a current member of ELTAC (Environmental Laboratory Technical Advisory Committee). She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alabama and has been active in the community of accredited regulatory compliance laboratories since 1998.

She previously served on the ELTAC subcommittee tasked with developing the alternate regulations for California’s Laboratory Accreditation and on the Association of California Water Agencies Laboratory Regulations Workgroup. She has worked for several large and small public and private laboratories and, in that capacity, assisted ELAP and other state and federal agencies in assessments of laboratory practices.

Her areas of expertise include analytical methods; analysis of organic and inorganic contaminants, including microbiological and toxicity constituents; detection limits; quality systems evaluation, development, and implementation; data evaluation; compliance reporting; laboratory operations; and laboratory accreditation.
