Jon Liberzon (he/him/his)

Emerging Markets Process Engineering Lead

Jon Liberzon is Emerging Markets Process Engineering Lead at Black & Veatch, where he focuses on innovative water technologies, projects and sectors. Previously, Jon developed and implemented new treatment processes including advanced primary treatment, shortcut nitrogen removal and thermal hydrolysis. Jon has also helped develop algae-based photosynthetic aeration systems and worked on drinking water and agricultural development projects in countries such as Haiti and Vanuatu. Jon holds a Masters from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at UC Irvine.
