Mr. Cameron Irvine is an associate environmental scientist with over 25 years of experience investigating the effects of contamination on aquatic resources. Cameron has led successful toxicity reduction evaluations to identify the causes of toxicity at numerous municipal wastewater treatment facilities and industrial discharges, including the identification of novel toxicants. He also chairs the ASTM International E50.47 subcommittee on Biological Effects and Environmental Fate which develops and maintains international toxicity testing standards. Hisbroad experience and deep knowledge has given Cameron keen insight into special studies to develop site-specific selenium water quality objectives; authoring water quality chapters on the potential effects from mercury, selenium, and other water quality constituents for CEQA / NEPA documents; and for conducting multiple studies to determine the cause and extent of interferences affecting cyanide analyses in treated wastewater.
