Sara Sadreddini, PE, is a process engineer at Black & Veatch with focused experience in wastewater treatment and nutrient management. Her engineering journey spans three continents, with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Iran and graduate degrees from Singapore and Canada. Sara has been passionately working on the Bay Area’s nutrient challenge, dedicating recent years to developing smart, cost‑effective nutrient solutions tailored to the region’s regulatory and operational needs.
Sarah Elger is currently the director of process and innovation at EnviroMix, Inc. She received her B.S. in engineering mechanics and astronautics from University of Wisconsin and her M.S. in environmental engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in the wastewater treatment space, specializing in biological wastewater treatment systems and process controls. Sarah is an active member of Water Environment Federation and a registered professional engineer in the State of Wisconsin. In her free time, Sarah enjoys volunteering with youth to enhance their education, traveling with her family and exploring the outdoors.
