Murat Bozkurt, Engineering Services Director/District Engineer with Delta Diablo, is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California with a strong background in government administration, specializing in program and project management, contract management, water and wastewater management, construction management, and civil/structural engineering. As Delta Diablo’s Engineering Services Director/District Engineer, Mr. Bozkurt directs all activities within the Engineering Services Department, overseeing the planning, design, and construction of capital projects, including the District’s Household Hazardous Waste Program. In addition, he manages key organizational functions to support the District’s strategic goals. His prior experience includes various engineering and management roles in both private (i.e., MNS) and public sectors (i.e., SFPUC). Mr. Bozkurt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. He also received a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University. Mr. Bozkurt is a key member of the District’s Executive Team.
