Daniel B. Guerra, Collection Grade IV and Mechanical Technician I, is the Collection System Supervisor at South Coast Water District. He brings 21 years of experience in wastewater collection, including 7 years focused on underground infrastructure. Daniel leads operations and maintenance of SCWD’s sewer system, including coastal tunnels, sewer pipelines, and related facilities that serve Dana Point and South Laguna Beach, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service for the community.

Daniel is dedicated to operational excellence and knowledge sharing. As a hands-on leader, he coaches frontline crews, standardizes cleaning, inspections, and system monitoring, and spots issues early to reduce risk and improve reliability. Daniel has helped update maintenance programs, inspection routines, and safety procedures, emphasizing practical improvements that extend asset life and protect public health and the Southern California coastline.
