Geo Thomas is an Associate Civil Engineer with the Sacramento Area Sewer District’s Process Support Group. He has been part of this group for 13 years, providing technical support to the District's wastewater treatment plant operators. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California. During his career, he has focused on process control, project management, process optimization, field studies, and pilot studies. Over the past 2 years, he has focused primarily on solids thickening and dewatering, helping to manage the District's solids emergency.
