Jenny Tanphanich, MS, PE

Supervising Engineer, Wastewater Collections Systems
Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts

Jenny Tanphanich, P.E., is a Supervising Engineer in the Wastewater Collection Systems Section of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. She has been with the Districts for nine years, developing expertise in wastewater planning, construction management, and collection systems operations. Prior to joining the public agency, Ms. Tanphanich worked as a consultant in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, advising federal and state agencies as well as Fortune 500 companies on sustainability and climate change initiatives. She has also demonstrated a strong commitment to global service, executing pro bono water supply and sanitation projects in India and Thailand. Ms. Tanphanich has a B.S. and M.S. in environmental engineering from MIT and Stanford University, respectively.
