Presentation Description: IEUA is in the process of updating our control system standards to include technological advances and lessons learned from several recent capital projects. Our control system architectures follow the Rockwell Automation PlantPAx guidelines.
The presentation will explore the following scenarios and case studies:
1. Methods to integrate variable frequency drives within the control system architecture.
2. Roadmap to upgrade obsolete network protocols while maintaining full plant operation.
3. The role of documentation and testing plans in a successful startup.
