Kemira became the first in the world to begin full-scale production of water-soluble, biomass-balanced polyacrylamides (PAMs) as early as 2021. This new manufacturing method for acrylamide from biomass feedstock helps reduce the carbon footprint and supports climate goals. Our Superfloc® BioMB flocculants yield a 50–95% reduction in carbon footprint, varying with the amount of raw material substitution. They perform identically to standard-grade products. The BioMB flocculants can help customers reach their sustainability targets without altering their process since they are a drop-in replacement.
