What if I register for AC26 Conference and Expo but am later unable to participate, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, please contact our Member Services team to transfer your registration, by phone 510-382-7800 option 4 or via email MemberServices@cwea.org. Substitutions can be done at any time before the conference begins.
What is the AC26 refund policy?
- Cancellations: Written cancellation requests must be received at least three business days before the event’s start date. A 25% cancellation fee will apply.
- Substitutions: Written substitution requests must be received at least three business days before the event’s start date. No fee will apply for substitutions.
- Less than 3 Day Notice/Day-of Program Cancellations/No-Show/ No Substitution: No refunds or credits will be issued. Refund Process: Refunds, minus the 25% cancellation fee, will be issued within three business days of an approved cancellation request.

Pre-Conference Workshop
- Do I need to register separately for pre-conference workshops? Yes, pre-conference workshops are optional and require separate registration and an additional fee.
- Are they included in my conference registration? No, these workshops are not included in the standard conference registration fee.
- When does the main conference start? Conference registration covers events starting on Wednesday.

mguillen@cwea.org.How do full-time students register?Full-time students are eligible for free AC26 registration. This does not include extra fee-based meals, technical tours, and other activities which can be purchased separately. This registration type is not available online since students must provide verification of current enrollment (six or more units per semester).
Students can submit their registration form via fax 510.382.7810, email to
MemberServices@cwea.org, or mail to the CWEA office.
How do I register my spouse or a guest to attend the networking events with me?
Spouses/guests can participate in:
- Icebreaker Reception on Tuesday night
- Access the Expo on Wednesday and Thursday
Since you must be registered for the conference as an attendee to earn contact hours, spouses/guests are not eligible for contact hours.
To register a spouse/guest use the online registration system.
How do exhibitors order more badges?
Please reference your exhibitor profile where you reserved your booth space for badge allocation and instructions. If you have questions, please contact Sue Alexander at salexander@cwea.org.
